These Terms explain how UTA Tracker may be used and how live transit data should be treated when planning trips.

01

Acceptance

By accessing or using UTA Tracker at utatracker.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

02

Service description

UTA Tracker is a free third-party transit information tool that displays real-time vehicle positions, stop arrival predictions, service alerts, and timetable data for Utah Transit Authority public transit.

UTA Tracker is not operated by, affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Utah Transit Authority.

03

Transit data accuracy

Transit data is sourced from UTA public GTFS-Realtime feeds and provided as-is. Arrival predictions, vehicle positions, and service alerts may be delayed, inaccurate, or temporarily unavailable.

Do not use UTA Tracker as your only source for time-sensitive travel decisions. Verify critical schedule information with official UTA channels.

04

Permitted use

You may use UTA Tracker for personal, non-commercial transit tracking.

  • Do not scrape, crawl, or systematically harvest service data at scale.
  • Do not disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service.
  • Do not redistribute UTA Tracker API responses as a competing transit data product.
  • Do not use the service in a way that violates applicable law.

05

Intellectual property

The UTA Tracker name, logo, design, and original code are property of the service operator. Transit schedule data originates from UTA and is used under UTA public data terms.

06

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, UTA Tracker and its operator are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including missed connections or reliance on inaccurate transit data.

07

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The last updated date reflects the most recent revision, and continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
